THE TRUTH BEHIND DARLENE ZSCHECH
Darlene Zschech

It would be hard to find someone in today's contemporary church that has not heard Darlene Zschech's song 'Shout to the Lord.' The album by that title remained No. 1 on “praise and worship charts” for over 30 weeks and is still in the top 10. It won Song of the Year at the Dove Awards in 1998. It has been estimated that it is sung by 30 million Christians around the world. Zschech is the worship leader for Hillsong Church in Austrailia.

HER SECULAR ALBUM

In 2004, she released an album called "Kiss of Heaven." She stated she wanted to release an album that was non-churchy and could be played on secular radio. Zschech stated in a growthtrac.com interview, "We did approach some of the songs on this album from a non-churchy perspective. ...We thought that if we made it too churchy, then others wouldn't relate to it. So we tried to give it a little bit of an edge, and reach out with it to those who are attracted to that kind of musical language."

On of the song she recorded is called "Walk On." It is written by bi-sexual U2 lead singer Bono. She sings the song, word for word, with Delirious lead singer Martin Smith. I must admit I found it suprising that Ms. Zschech would do this, but I was not suprised about Delirious.

You might be asking why? Well how about the fact that they just made an album with openly bi-sexual U2 lead singer Bono. How about the fact they have toured with secular rock bands Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. Bon Jovi sings numerous songs about sex, with one in particular about wanting to be in bed with a girl to be as close to her as the Holy Ghost. Yet Delirious tours with them. They obviousily have not read Amos 3:3 "Can two walk togehter, unless they they are agreed?" During an interview with a music organization called PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH Delirious had the following answers to these questions:

Heikoop: Will you ever slide more into the secular scene or will you stick to the roots of the Christian music?
Delirious?: We will probably always do both.
Heikoop: Who are some of your influences?
Delirious?: Radiohead, Sting.
Heikoop: What do you think is the band's greatest accomplishment so far?
Delirious?: Playing with Bon Jovi, still being together after 9 years and moving towards the same goal, remaining good friends.

Their greatest accomplishment is playing with Bon Jovi? Lead singer Jon Bon Jovi was quoted as saying: "My inspiration is right below my waist and in between my legs." Not only that, but they listen to Sting! Sting is a follower of satanist baby sacrificing ALEISTER CROWLEY.

Well maybe you ask "Did Darlene go out on her own, and leave Hillsong Church?" Here is your answer from the same interview:

"It's a funny thing. I've always written worshipful songs, but writing about other things is not new to me, although people don't think of me that way. I really knew that someday I would do this again, because I have done this before. I sang professionally years ago, before I started leading worship at our church. But in order to do this again, I really wanted it to be in line with our church leaders. I only wanted to do it if I had their support, and they were really happy to see me do it."

Sad. The church has now released an album with Delirious. They also had Delirious play at Hillsong Conference 2006 while they hosted special speaker Rick Warren. Let us not forget, at the 30th anniversary of Warren's Saddle Back Church, he and his worship team performed Jimi Hendrix's song 'Purple Haze." Hendrix was admittedly demon-posessed and the song is about a drug trip. The devil loves to mix the world with the church.

Then, in her book 'Kiss of Heaven' Zschech states: “I once watched Sting in concert (he was absolutely incredible!). So much gift for one human being! Thoughts raced through my head, ‘My goodness, Sting, you are like king David, full of psalms, melodies and music, and you sing as if you don’t even know that His hand is upon you. You are so close to the heart of God. You are a master poet, full of love, and your capabilities are not because of your own natural abilities, you have tapped into the source of your Creator’” (Zschech, The Kiss of Heaven, 2003).

What? What? C'mon. Comparing a man that follows after satanist baby murdering Aleister Crolwey to King David. Get real!!!!!! If that does not sicken the body of Christ what will? And what is she doing at this concert? Sorry, she does not get a hall pass with me on this.

Well, No More Ministries, have you contacted her? Yes, yes, yes. She told us not to worry .... and on Bono she stated "I am sure he has a strong relationship with Christ" in the e-mail she sent us. She also stated in an interview with integritymusic.com, "One of the artists that inspired me over many years has been U2. We love their music, and we love their message. Bono is a very godly man. I love that... Whether you agree or disagree, you’ve got to admire the courage and tenacity of these people... I think there has got to be an edge of the prophetic on their lives."

Is that why he sings 'Sympathy for the Devil', by the Rolling Stones, in concert. Is that why he stated that our Holy Spirit is "Like a woman, undependable." Is that why he sticks his tongue in another man's mouth. I am sorry, but I will not yoke up and try to minister with this man. But DARLENE ZSCECH will and HILLSONGS CHURCH endorses it.

Pray for her, e-mail her, and tell her to stop leading the people of God astray.
