Luce states:
“A stealthy enemy has infiltrated our country and is preying upon the hearts and minds of 33 million American teens. Corporations, media conglomerates, and purveyors of popular culture have spent billions to seduce and enslave our youth. So far, the enemy is winning. But there is plenty we can do. We need to take action. We need to answer the Battle Cry. Today's teens are being attacked by popular culture like no other generation. Hollywood, the music industry, advertisers, and even the mainstream media are using their arsenal of tools to win the battle for our teens' hearts- and so far they are winning! In order to defeat our enemy, we must know how it thinks and understand the weapons it uses. It is critical that we realize how far-reaching the crisis is- and then we must work together to stop it.”

This is what is determined as “The Crisis” on www.battlecry.com

Do I agree with the statement? Absolutely!
Do I believe in their answer? NOT A CHANCE!
The stealthy enemy (the devil) IS preying on the minds of our young people, and we preach about that daily, but BATTLE CRY HAS MADE THEMSELVES PART OF THE PROBLEM. One the biggest strongholds he has is rock music. But who has Battle Cry asked to headline their event? P.O.D.

P.O.D. Are you kidding me? P.O.D.? The P.O.D. that drinks, cusses, and states smoking marijuana was “Those were the best of times, and I don’t regret any of it.” This is how they take action? Do they know that P.O.D. tours with Ozzy Osbourne on OZZFEST? And if that is not enough, do they know the story behind the story?

*You’ll find them cussing in articles in the following magazines: Guitar World (f-word), Rolling Stone magazine (f-word), Circus magazine (s--t, a--ed), Drum magazine (d--n, pi--), Revolver magazine (d--n) and in the Associated Press (pi--ed).

*You’ll hear them admitting they used to smoke a lot of marijuana and then stating, "Those were the best of times, and I don’t regret any of it, because we had some fun."

*You will read that when P.O.D. was asked if they drink beer, they responded : "Of course we drink beer and we party. You don’t believe how often we get that question. People seem to have the misconception that we spend all our time on our knees praying, but I assure you, we don’t. If there’s a party, we party!"

But do they know the “real Truth” behind P.O.D.? P.O.D. does not believe Jesus is coming back. They endorse the Rastafarian beliefs!!! Consider the following about P.O.D.

*You’ll also find P.O.D. stating their theology in quotes such as, "It’s not like Jesus is coming back."

"We’re from the street; we’re not Bible scholars—we don’t know the lingo. It’s not like Jesus is coming back... "You won’t hear that in a P.O.D. song. We break it down street-style." Wuv, P.O.D. (New Music, June 2000, p. 45)

What is rastafarianism?
Rastafarianism is a religion and way of life, that began in Jamaica in the 1930’s that blends components of Christianity, Hinduism, New Age, Mysticism, Racism and Voodoo. Followers of Rastafarianism are called Rastas, or Rastaman. In the 1930’s Rastaman, Leonard Howell provided the six principles upon which Rastafarianism is founded:

"(1) hatred for the White race;
(2) the complete superiority of the Black race;
(3) revenge on Whites for their wickedness;
(4) the negation, persecution, and humiliation of the government and legal bodies of Jamaica;
(5) preparation to go back to Africa; and
(6) acknowledging Emperor Haile Selassie as the Supreme Being and only ruler of Black people"
(Barret, Leonard E., The Rastafarians, p. 85)

Wuv of P.O.D. makes the incredible statement – he thinks "everybody converted to Rasta at least once in their life"!

"I think everybody converted to Rasta at least once in their life" - Wuv, P.O.D. (Guitar World, Nov. 2001, p. 57)

When asked about using devout Rastifarians Eek-a-mouse and H.R. from Bad Brains on their Satellite album, P.O.D. had the following things to say.

As a band what do you feel a guest can add?
“These are people we grew up to, and hopefully people who buy P.O.D. will say, 'What's up with that? Those guys are dope,' and they'll find a whole new world they've never even experienced. Most thirteen-, fourteen-year-olds don't know who Bad Brains are or Eek-A-Mouse, so hopefully by researching and doing some homework they can learn this is what we're into, … And it will show them a whole new side of who P.O.D. is, and introduce them to a new generation.”

It is not like Jesus is coming back? MY JESUS IS COMING BACK!!! MY BIBLE SAYS SO!!! P.O.D. does not believe he is coming back, because they believe he was already here in the form of Hailee Selasssie.

IT IS TIME FOR BATTLE CRY TO WAKE UP!!!!! AND YOU CAN HELP US BY LETTING THEM KNOW THE TRUTH!!! DO NO SEND YOUR KIDS! WE ARE TO COME OUT AND BE SEPARATE, NOT JOIN IN WITH THE WORLD.
